Frances D. Smith

Frances Diane Smith (Franks) born on May 7, 1954, to parents Delbert J. and Clementine Franks. Frances had four brothers: Gary Franks, Raymond Franks, Tony Franks, Bill Franks, and a sister Virgie Franks.

Frances Diane Smith and Alonza Smith Jr were excited to start a life and family together, the two were married on December 4, 1971. In 1972, they welcomed their first daughter, Frances Denise Dixon (Smith), and welcomed their next child, another daughter in 1980, Tanya Marie Smith. Then along came the grandchildren, Devin Smith, John Dixon Jr, Aaron Smith, Jasmine Dixon, Tevion Smith, Victor Smith, Kenya and Terrance Scaife, and two great-grandchildren, J`ayden and Liana Dixon.

Frances Diane Smith(Franks) she leaves to cherish her husband, Alonza Smith Jr of 54 years, her two daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In her spare time Frances Diane Smith(Franks) loved to collect porcelain dolls, which she started when her children were toddlers.  She loved doing word puzzles and watching her favorite soap operas.

Known for her loving personality and compassion for others, Frances will be dearly missed by all who knows her. Frances Diane Smith (Franks) family ask that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
